Sarah Palin: Accomplished Flautist

Posted by Caleb Hannan on Wed, Oct 1, 2008 at 3:11 PM

Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin has caught some heat recently for the not so eloquent ways in which she explained herself during an interview with Katie Couric. And tomorrow night, a record TV audience will tune in to watch her debate Senator Joe Biden, many no doubt hoping to witness another flub as it happens. But all is not lost. Because if Palin gets stumped again she has a long, silver ace up her sleeve. Here's Palin during the 1984 Miss Alaska Beauty Pageant talent competition performing "The Homecoming," as written by Nathaniel Hardy. Enjoy. But please, no "skin flute" jokes.

The expectations have been lowered sooo far for Palin, she's sure to exceed them.
