This week’s cover story, Reckless Love, tells the heartbreaking story of Caitlin Miller, a pretty 17-year-old girl who died after a post-argument collision with her boyfriend’s truck. The boyfriend, twenty-year-old Chaz Green — yes, his legal name is Chaz — says that the collision was an accident. But Caitlin’s friends and family think that he meant to hurt her. In the story, Caitlin's loved ones recount episodes of Chaz choking Caitlin, yelling at her, threatening her with his truck and attempting to run her off the road. In October, he was charged with vehicular homicide in Dickson County, where the accident happened. His trial starts in November. Caitlin’s family has also filed a $5 million lawsuit alleging that Green “knowingly and intentionally caused the crash that ended Caitlin's life."
