For the life of me, I cannot figure out why this YouTube video demonstrating how to fold a shirt has been seen over 400,000 times (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5AWQ5aBjgE), but your post today provides some clues.
Somebody give Nancy a microphone, please!
Amen! Criminy, don't they have any clue how to shoot a video? It looks and sounds like this was shot in 1972 from 50 feet away with no microphone.
Watching it again. I'm expecting Leigh Bowery or Andy Warhol to make an appearance in the lost frames of Nancy's tutorial.
Wait. Damn. Watching it again...
"Hair blower?" On video, apparently there's not even Gannett-quality editorial oversight.
They were originally going to do a segment with me about how to do shadow puppets (that's my field), but I had to cancel at the last minute. From the looks of it, they kept the set-up (note the lighting) and must have brought in the packing lady on short notice. That would also explain the microphone situation. No need for a mic for a shadow puppet video.
