Want to make your big-screen debut in the upcoming
Billy: The Early Years? (That's Billy Graham—sorry, Billy Carter fans.) Extras casting directors Clayton and Sharon Ceccatti Hill are seeking lots of people for the Robby Benson-directed biopic, which stars recent Oscar nominee Hal Holbrook and begins shooting April 2 in Middle Tennessee for six weeks.
The Hills say they need "all ages, all types—the more the merrier." Especially college-age men and women. Since it's a 1930s-40s period piece, they want anyone who's interested to send in a snapshot with the following info on the back: name, town, phone number, age, height, weight, and clothing, shoe and hat sizes. Send them to Preacher Films, Box 90387, Nashville, TN 37209.
(Interesting side note: The Hills may be working the other side of the camera these days—their casting credits include the Ron Howard comedy
Gung Ho—but horror nuts know the couple as the "lead zombies" in George A. Romero's 1978
Dawn of the Dead. They said they might show up and surprise the director at
one of his Nashville appearances this weekend.)
