Editor's Note

Posted by on Mon, Dec 3, 2007 at 1:45 PM

We don’t always trumpet staff hirings, but I think this one—like Jeff Woods’ triumphant return some months back—is particularly noteworthy. Starting Jan. 2, former Scene staff writer Matt Pulle will be returning to the paper as managing editor. He will write and report, as all of our editors do, in addition to working with copy and helping me with the paper’s overall vision. A fearless truth teller, Pulle’s homecoming is great news for readers and bad news for wayward cops, stupid Metro Council members and police prostitution decoys who consummate the act against district attorney instruction. It’s probably not what Nashville’s competitive runners want to hear either, as the scrawny Pulle will be facing them again at starting lines near you. Also, Scene staff take note: Pulle is an inveterate office-supply kleptomaniac, so keep those scissors under lock and key.
