Thursday's Hot Type

More fallout about our English-only, ugly American syndrome.

Apparently poor Pacman is just a misunderstood victim, a peaceful sort of guy. Or perhaps not.

What's the point of being a politico if there's no free lunch?

A story that blows.

Breaking up is still hard to do.

Wow, that Andy Cordan story about Pacman is really something. Talk about cool under pressure.

I trust that everyone has read this.

"His disposition and aura are not one of violence."

Mmmmm.

"It really bothers him that the guy got paralyzed, it really disturbs him. He's beside himself about this."

Yeah, I'll bet.

Pacman just may have found his next career move though; which seems somewhat imminent.

Having observed a number of "bouncers," I've come to know those fellows as ones whose primary joy in life is violence. (Not unlike Pacman, apparently.) And also including our nationally venerated contingent of "jarheads," active and retired; whose indoctrination at Parris Island instilled within them the righteousness of maiming and killing.

Can there be any mystery that many of our citizens incarcerated for violaence have military backgrounds?

Go for it, Pacman. Your new career awaits.
