Thought for Food

Posted by on Wed, Jan 10, 2007 at 10:42 AM

The First Unitarian Universalist Church is hosting a discussion tonight at 7:00 p.m., on the future of food in Nashville:

What can we do to ensure that all Nashvillians have access to fresh, locally grown, organic produce for most of the year? We will discuss possible solutions with a local farmer, a representative from the Nashville Farmers' Market, and people involved with local community gardening and food recovery programs. You do not need to have seen the film "The Future of Food" to attend.

For more info check out CoolPeopleCare or email Laurie Samuels, greenteam@firstuunashville.org. The First Unitarian Universalist Church is located at 1808 Woodmont (between Hillsboro and Belmont).
