If you're looking for a good Halloween event and you like to dress up as a member of the undead, you might want to participate in the Zombie Walk at 5:45 pm Saturday, Oct. 28. How do you join the Zombie Walk? It's simple. Just dress up as a zombie (we suggest greenish gray body paint and an old prom dress or suit), then stumble and moan your way from The End to Springwater Supper Club. Nashville comedian Ryan Williams organized the event because he's "a tremendous fan of anything zombie-related. All I seriously wanna do is see a big mob of lurching zombies make their way up West End, past the Parthenon."

Once you get to Springwater, you can party your rotting flesh off at the Zombie Prom, a costumed theme party. Springwater encourages everyone to dress up but says that normal, living members of society are also welcome. After all, the zombies need someone to eat. Live DJs and a Misfits cover band will provide the music. The Zombie Prom starts at 10 pm. There's a $5 cover.

If the Zombie Walk is at 5:45 pm and the Zombie Prom doesn't start until 10 pm, I'm not exactly sure what you're supposed to do in between the two events. Stand around and groan, I guess.

If you need help coming up with a zombie costume, may I suggest Resident Evil, Thriller, Shaun of the Dead or maybe Ally McBeal's Dyan Cannon.
