Netroots in Nashville

The netroots thing has taken hold locally in the form of support for Harold Ford Jr.'s senate campaign. The Ford netroots group's website won't win any design awards, but the group will host a rally for Ford Saturday from 3:00-4:30 pm at McDougal's Village Coop in Hillsboro Village, with live music from Murfreesboro's Shoo Fly Pie. Ford doesn't show up (yet) on the ActBlue list of Democratic candidates with strong local netroots support, but favorable recent polling news (leading Corker by a few points, albeit within the margin of error) could change that.
