This movie is a phantom—a beast that gets sighted maybe once every few years. I have friends who drove hundreds of miles to see it. Others have waited more than 10 years for it. Still others fear they may never even get the chance to see it in a theater during their lifetime. It is making a brief tour of the U.S. this fall, playing only a select handful of cities, including Chicago, Seattle and Columbus, Ohio. So far, it's playing only one city in the entire South...and that city is Nashville.
I never thought I'd get to say this, but let the word roll like thunder: Satantango is coming.
