I was waiting for someone else to blog this, but nobody's had the nerve to step forward and say what needs to be said, so here goes.
Liz Garrigan was the subject of a major take-down on Larry Brinton's spot on Channel 4 last night. (It ain't Larry King, but hey ...). Ol' Larry apparently had just heard about Ms. Garrigan's spat with the Catholics over some liberal speaker and he rehearsed the now historical details with fresh relish. Poor Larry--he's always the last to know.
Anyway, while Larry was giving graphic voice to Ms. Garrigan's several sins against the Pope, and the resulting furor among the faithful, he had a picture of her pasted up on the screen labeled "Liz Garrison." It's been said many times, but it bears repeating: "Say anything you want to about me, but spell my name right."
