Props to Boston Seafood House

Posted By on Thu, Jun 22, 2006 at 3:32 PM

Okay, so technically, the name is Batter'd and Fried Boston Seafood House, but that name's just too damn long if you ask me (ASIDE: My all-time favorite restaurant name: Blackbeard's Chinese Seafood All-You-Can-Eat Buffet. It has a certain ring to it, reminiscent of Eeny Meeny Miny Mo).

Anyway, we ate at this fine East Nashville establishment on Monday night, when all their beers were two-for-one. The server made it very clear that we could take a token for our second beer and bring it back on any night to claim the drink if we didn't want to down two beers with our dinner.

I don't know if any other restaurants in town are doing this, but man, what a great idea. The tokens promote responsible drinking and getting the most for your money, two things that make me very happy. Batter'd & Fried Dudes: You rule.
