Every night at bedtime, when you read your kid Where the Wild Things Are
, do you put down the book and think, "My kid looks just like Max"? Bring your little wild thing 3 p.m. Monday to Studio Five Two One at 521 8th Avenue South, where casting director Kim Petrosky is holding an open casting call for the lead role only in the movie version of the Maurice Sendak book. Petrosky only wants to see 7- to 9-year-old boys; no previous acting experience is required, but you must bring a recent 4 x 6" photo.
Spike Jonze is directing, Tom Hanks producing; it shoots in August in Australia. Sounds cool. Email email@example.com for more info.
