Registry for Katrina Survivors

A simple site called I'm ok lets Katrina survivors register with just a phone number so that others, assuming they know the last primary phone number of a given person, can query the database and find out they're ok. The trick, of course, is connecting survivors lacking computers and internet access to the thing. Perhaps that's where the rest of us come in. (Via Dynamist.)
