One More Before I Go

Not that anyone really cares I guess, but I'll be away from PITW for a while. Life has intruded, as it sometimes does. Before I go, though, this libertarian/conservative/center-right/whatever else I am person would like to add his voice to the chorus:
Mr. President, please fire this lying, incompetent boob. And, when you're looking for a replacement, don't put another frigging lawyer in charge of FEMA. I is one o' them lawyers, and--trust me on this one--most lawyers couldn't manage a goldfish bowl, much less a federal agency in charge of responding to national emergencies.
And no, just for the record, I'm not very impressed with most of the "leaders" at the state or local level either. This was a grade-A clusterf**k at all levels. As one commenter on Jeff Jarvis' blog put it, "This is America, and this [was] the best we could do." Embarrassing.
See y'all later on. And play nice.
