Hoo boy, this
is gonna take some getting used to:
The new speed limit signs are going up Monday on the I-440 Parkway in Nashville, lowering the speed limit by ten miles per hour. State Transportation Commissioner Gerald Nicely says the change came at the request of local officials. The eight-mile-long parkway connects Interstate 40 with Interstates 65 and 24. Those routes are all limited to 55 miles per hour at the interchanges with 440. The new limit on I-440 is 55 miles per hour, effective immediately.
Anyone know of an actual reason for this?
