Regarding the blogroll...and Wal-Mart

There have been some complaints about PITW's blogroll.
Folks, please keep in mind that the Scene is owned by Village Voice Media, a privately held corporation based in New York, New York. As such, all additions to or subtractions from our blogroll must be approved in by a team of corporate lawyers based in New York. Requests for addition should be directed to "Corporate Legal, Village Voice Media, 36 Cooper Square, New York, NY, 10003." Please remember to include two (2) forms of proof that you are a Nashville-based Web logger (hereafter, "blogger"), and allow up to six (6) weeks for processing. A reply will be sent via the US Postal Service.

Also: Today's Chattanooga Times Free Press ($1 subscription required) reports that Wal-Mart is the state's largest employer of TennCare recipients. Fully 25% of the world's largest retailer's Tennessee workforce--almost 10,000 people--are on TennCare, which means we all get to subsidize those low prices.
