Ducko McFli’s star is currently white hot, to say the least. The Nashville artist is amid the most fruitful run of his career, having found himself collaborating with and producing a string of high-profile names over the past 12 months, including Drake, Atlanta’s Two-9 and various artists from Chicago’s 3Hunna. On top of solo production credits, Ducko has been putting in work with his new production team, The Fam (which includes Nashville native SykSense and Atlanta’s DJ FU). It’s an impressive run that’s culminated in a well-deserved production deal to the label of Boi-1da, Drake’s long-time collaborator and labelmate.

The multi-talented Mr. McFli’s swing of hits and high-profile placements is one of the most impressive runs any producer in indie hip-hop is currently experiencing. The fact that Ducko is a local and a scene veteran who many of us have had the privilege of watching evolve over the past several years only makes it the more captivating.

Speaking of captivating, Fredo Santana (of Chicago’s GBE/3Hunna) just released a new mixtape called Walking Legend, and boy is it the bee’s knees. One of mixtape’s standout tracks is "Stay Da Same," a Ducko McFli and Childish Major production. It’s a rather emo track from 3Hunna, and the production puts a new spin on Fredo and Lil Reese’s theatrics.

“Rap Game Fucked Up” is also a Ducko production worth checking out. It’s a song by Wavy Wallace, a member of the Two-9 collective whose star is equally hot right now, after recently signing to Mike Will Made It’s Eardrumma Records. The track features a one-take Wavy Wallace verse in which he thoroughly snaps, delivering an inspired flow that only outdoes itself as the track continues.

Fredo Santana’s Walking Legend is available for free download, and so is “Rap Game Fucked Up” by Wavy Wallace (stream below). So add those joints to your personal vaults, and follow Ducko McFli on Twitter to keep up with his many happenings.
