St. Paul and the Broken Bones to Play Marathon Music Works for New Year's Eve

Last we heard from Birmingham, Ala., soul crew St. Paul and the Broken Bones, they were kicking out the jams and talkin' about gettin' baptized at Bonnaroo. Today, with a full five months left in 2014, the group announced that they've already finalized their New Year's Eve plans. When the big ol' eighth note gets ready to drop in downtown Nashville, St. Paul & Co. will be tearing it up over at Marathon Music Works. Support acts have yet to be announced for the 18-and-up show, which kicks off at 9 p.m. on Dec. 31. Tickets run $30-$35 and officially go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, but you can pick them up now with the promo code "SPBBNYE." St. P and the BBs put on a powerful show that I've seen several times now, but you don't have to take my word for it. Consult with The Spin, or check out the above clip of the band playing the Wilson Pickett-y number "Call Me" on Jimmy Kimmel Live (originally aired in June, but rebroadcast this week).
