Man or Astro-Man? Tonight at Exit/In

Posted By on Tue, Jul 15, 2014 at 7:30 AM

At the tail end of the 20th century, there appeared a band of string-bending, space-warping and hard-traveling musical techno-heroes known as Man or Astro-Man? Materializing in clubs and venues across the planet, they dazzled true believers with their displays of cosmic twang and reverb power to bring hope to the mud-ball-bound inhabitants of a tiny blue world near the edge of its galaxy. For almost a decade, they delivered the cosmic rock ’n’ roll. Then, just as quickly as they appeared, they vanished into the intergalactic nether-void. But the legends persisted. Now they have returned. Or could they be sinister duplicates from some antimatter world? Only by examining the evidence for yourself under the crackling light of the Tesla coil can you determine the truth. Let us punish the guilty. Let us reward the innocent. My friend, can your heart stand the shocking facts of Man or Astro-Man?

Tonight's show at Exit/In costs $5 and starts at 9 p.m. Sallie Ford will appear in support. See our 2012 feature on Man or Astro-Man? here.
