On “iFUXWITCHU,” Dee takes his lazy, stoned-out flow to the extreme, almost turning his rapping into crooning as he takes on young life in the city. “Lonely days, drunken nights / Living the life underneath a natural life.” That’s the main theme of the track: There are no holds barred as Dee confronts his commitment issues, while at the same time bemoaning "college girls" who will “stay looking for a Superman. But’ll walk past Clark Kent.” It’s the kind of track that might get Drake looking over his shoulder, if he knows what's good for him.
Listen to "iFUXWITCHU" below, and read a couple excerpts of what Dee has to say about Family. Friends. Money. after the jump.
Family, Friends, Money is aggressive and melodic, the concepts and content are current and relatable to everyone and its title is derived from Dee’s never-ending quest to attain a balance in his life. Family, Friends, and Money. That’s what life is all about right? …
Family, Friends, Money is real music from a regular person’s perspective; it address the woes of hustling, gun laws, violence, safe sex, self love and the difficulties of being a single parent. “I give people 'recap raps,'” quips Dee, “I am showing them the way, or simply recalling my own. I am confident that my story will connect with others who are going thru the same everyday struggle. At the end of the day, this is just the first chapter and like you—my story has undeniably just begun!"
