Earlier this month, songstress Nikki Lane released her Dan Auerbach-produced sophomore record, All or Nothin'. Our own Marissa R. Moss spoke with Lane for this here feature, wherein the South Carolina native and current Nashvillian talked about filming a music video. "I know exactly what bars," Lane told Moss about shooting the video. "I know exactly who I want. And I have the wardrobe. Maybe it makes me more difficult to work with, but I have such a specific aesthetic that I love. I have to have my way."
And have her way she did. Above you can see the newly released video in question, "Right Time," which dropped this morning via CMT. In it, Lane plays a bat-wielding, GTO-driving, motorcycle-torching vigilante, out for vengeance against any dirtbag who crosses one of her lady pals. The video also features fellow songsters Shelly Colvin, Cory Chisel and Robert Ellis, among others. Give it a look, and get your hands on All or Nothin' via New West Records.
