Watch Performances From Daniel Ellsworth and the Great Lakes, Joey Kneiser and Kelly Smith, Honey Locust [Vidsy Bits]

Let's do that thing where I show you performance vids from a handful of local bands, OK? For starters, electro-popsters Wild Cub were on Conan last night, so watch that performance here.

* Up first is Daniel Ellsworth and the Great Lakes, who released their record Kid Tiger back in March. They recently stopped in at local studio Forty-One Fifteen to film a session for Brite Revolution, and you can watch the feel-good piano popsters do "Waves" above and "Idle Warning" after the jump.

* Joey Kneiser and Kelly Smith (formerly Kelly Kneiser) of Glossary did an installment of a series called "Kitchen Songs," wherein they played Kneiser's tune "Funeral Flowers." Heartfelt harmonizing at its Southernmost, know what I mean? Watch after the jump. You can download Joey's The All-Night Bedroom Revival and Kelly's Kelly Kneiser for free via Glossary's site.

* Local chamber-folk ensemble Honey Locust released their LP The Great Southern Brood earlier this year. They recently performed their lush, brooding tune "On the Gables" for Little Light Shows, and you can watch that after the jump as well. Stream or purchase Brood here.
