Watch Jack White and Ben Blackwell Explain The Lazaretto Ultra LP

Posted By on Tue, May 6, 2014 at 12:55 PM

In keeping with their tradition of self-imposed, elaborate, novel innovations in record pressing and album packaging, Jack White and his crew at Third Man Records sure as shit ain’t skimping on the analog anomalies (like locked grooves and an A-side that plays from the outside in) and tangible Easter eggs (like hidden tracks that play at 78 RPM) when it comes to the singer’s forthcoming sophomore solo LP Lazaretto. Check out this freshly posted video of White and his nephew/TMR lieutenant and resident record geek Ben Blackwell dry-wittedly demoing the features of what White calls "The Lazaretto Ultra LP" — a long-playing collector’s cornucopia of crafty wax work. Pre-order it here.
