Beck to Play the Ryman July 14 and 15

So here’s a little something for local practitioners of good music taste to get excited about: Beck is returning to the Ryman for a two-night stand July 14 and 15!

This marks the “Loser” singer’s first Mother Church soiree since 1997, and his first Nashville appearance since 2006. He’ll be touring in support of early Album of 2014 contender Morning Phase, his first essential long-player since 2002’s Sea Change.

Tickets are $54-$75 and go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m., right here and here. Hey, if we’re lucky, maybe he’ll reprise his 2006 antics and perform a secret after-show show at semi-swanky Gulch watering hole Sambuca.
