Thumb through this week's dead-tree edition of the Scene and you'll find contributor Lance Conzett's fine piece on the latest two installments of United Record Pressing's Upstairs at United series. Great stuff, and worth a read. And right alongside that feature you'll find a little sidebar listing all of tomorrow's Record Store Day haps.
Anyhow, try as I might, I couldn't squeeze all of the RSD festivities and releases onto just one page. So follow me after the jump to see everything that's going down at Ernest Tubb, Fond Object, The Groove, Grimey's, McKay and Third Man Records, plus a list of some of this year's Nashville-centric RSD releases.
Ernest Tubb Record Shop (417 Broadway), 9 a.m.-midnight
Tayla Lynn, granddaughter of the legendary Loretta Lynn, will perform at 1 p.m. in celebration of her new three-song Coal Dust EP. The EP features "Loretta Lynn singing her original harmony part with Tayla on a true-to-the-original remake of Loretta’s first single, 'Honky Tonk Girl.'" More info on that here.
Ernest Tubb will also offer a more country-centric selection of Record Store Day releases than you're likely to find at other local shops, including 7-inches from Mary Gauthier and Sam Baker, Wanda Jackson, Shooter Jennings, John Oates, Dolly Parton, Harry Dean Stanton and The Wild Feathers, plus EPs and/or LPs from Johnny Cash, Eric Church, The Civil Wars, Steve Earle, The Everly Brothers and more. See ET's full list here.

McKay Used Books (636 Old Hickory Blvd), 9 a.m.-10 p.m.
Not a whole lot of info to be found online (poke around on their Facebook page), but McKay tells the Cream that they will indeed be carrying special RSD releases, that they've upped their music inventory "by thousands," and that there will be food trucks and giveaways. They also inform us that DJ Nerfski will spin from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., and that will probably look like this.
Third Man Records (623 Seventh Ave. S.), 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
The folks at TMR promise new merch, including T-shirts, posters, sweets from Bang Candy Company, pop-up postcards (see a video of what those look like below) and more. As promised, Jack White will perform, record, press and release "Lazaretto," the "world's fastest studio-to-store single." Tickets for that are already allotted, but some other stuff is going down that you can catch. All of the info is here, with details about parking here. Here's the TMR schedule:
7 a.m.: Breakfast on patio
10 a.m.: Jack White records single, followed by "a possible short set in the Blue Room"; store and Rolling Record Store open and "begin selling Whirlwind Heat reissue, new merchandise"
Noon: Waxed followed by Jawws at the Rolling Record Store; lunch
2 p.m.: Whirlwind Heat performs in the Blue Room; "ULTRA TICKET HOLDERS ONLY"
TBD (early afternoon): "Hot off the presses, the World's Fastest Record is delivered from URP and will be sold from a separate line in front of the yellow garage door."
6 p.m.: Close
