The Apache Relay's 'Don't Leave Me Now' [Fresh Vid]

As we've mentioned a time or two, local soul-inflected rock 'n' rollers The Apache Relay will release their self-titled third LP next month. As you can see above, they're teasing the record's release with a brand-new video for the tune "Don't Leave Me Now," wherein director Michael Carter (and a crew featuring DP Dustin Lane and producers Max Butler and Elise Tyler) does his best to find beauty in the banal, the commonplace and the slightly bobo — rent-a-cops and Juggalos, teenagers Cupid Shuffling and taking home pregnancy tests, and the fine city of Lebanon. I'd say Carter nailed it.

The Apache Relay was recorded in Van Nuys, Calif., at Fairfax Recordings and produced by Kevin Augunas and will be out April 22 via So Recordings. See them April 12 at Marathon Music Works' Spring Block Party.
