Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros to Play the Ryman June 5

At one of his sets during last year's Bonnaroo, noted comic David Cross referred to his fellow 'Roo performers Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros as "Eddie Spaghetti and the Magic Beans." This came during a bit about how Cross screwed with the fog machine during one of the band's London performances. It was probably the funniest moment of Cross' entire set, and "Eddie Spaghetti and the Magic Beans" has stuck with me ever since.

Anyway! The hippie-dippy, feel-good-groovy, folky neo-psych outfit is still touring behind 2012's Here, and the announcement came along this morning that they'll stop in at the Mother Church of Country Music on June 5. Tickets — which will run you between $33 and $38 before service fees — go on sale at 10 a.m. on Jan. 31 via this link. Now, somebody get those grimy stinkbugs a bar of soap, bless their hearts.
