Bonnaroo Unveils First 'Roo Clue' of 2014

"Too soon!" I can hear some of you screaming. "My sunburn and/or acid hangover from last year's Bonnaroo just subsided!" Well, too bad-backslash-deal with it, says Bonnaroo. The Manchester, Tenn.-based music and arts festival has just kick-started this year's 'Roo-mor mill with the first of their "Roo Clues" (that is, hints at who might be featured on this year's lineup), which they promise to post via their Instagram feed every Tuesday and Thursday. You can see the first 'Roo Clue above.

As anyone with a more-than-tenuous grasp of U.S. geography can tell you, the above image features a map of Oregon with a star indicating the city of Portland. And as anyone who is aware that televisions used to have antennae can tell you (i.e., anyone over the age of, like, 16), the map is framed by a television. So, the obvious first guess would be Portlandia, right? We all know that Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein of the hit IFC sketch show have taken Portlandia on tour (even stopping in at Nashville's Marathon Music Works last year). But doesn't that seem a bit obvious? Well. The Washed Out song "Feel It All Around" serves as Portlandia's theme song. Also, members of bands including Modest Mouse, The Decemberists and The Shins have appeared on the program. Fred Armisen comedy set? Sleater Kinney reunion? Elliott Smith hologram?!

Follow along with the #RooClues on Twitter or Instagram, and let us know what you're thinking.
