Ah, sleazy party-time electro-pop duo Cherub. You guys know they're something of a sensation, right? Take, for instance, their new video for "Heartbreaker," which you can watch above: The clip has been up for two days, and it's already garnered over 10,000 views. As you'll see, the video features performance footage from Cherub's recent tour stops at Chicago's Lollapalooza and North Coast festivals.
Now, "Heartbreaker" — which is taken from Cherub's recent EP 100 Bottles, available for purchase via iTunes — is an unapologetically unctuous, drug-fueled, skeezy nocturnal banger that's "about doing powder in the bathroom stall" and is about as slick as a dolphin's dome. It's basically what cocaine would sound like if cocaine bought a talkbox and started a band. It ain't philosophical — it's party music. Party on.
