Word comes our way today that Nashvillian, Raconteur, Readymade Records founder and noted solo songster Brendan Benson will release his LP You Were Right (no relation to the characteristically excellent Built to Spill song of the same name, as far as I can tell) on Nov. 29.

Benson will celebrate the release of You Were Right with a Dec. 18 show at Music City's very own Mother Church of Country Music, where he'll be joined by guests and collaborators including fellow Raconteur Jack White, legendary Animals frontman Eric Burdon (whose Eric Burdon and The Greenhornes Benson produced), Butch Walker, Jessie Baylin, Ken Stringfellow, Jon Auer and Willy Mason, plus Readymade artists Cory Chisel, The Howlin’ Brothers (who will also open the show), Young Hines and more. According to a press release, "The show will benefit the David Lynch Foundation with proceeds going to veterans and at-risk children in the Nashville area." And yes, when we're talking about the David Lynch Foundation, we are indeed talking about that David Lynch, the one and only.

Tickets to the Dec. 18 show — which will run you $27.50 in advance and $30 the day of — go on sale this Friday, Oct. 4, at 10 a.m. via this link.
