As we've mentioned a time or two or three, locally residing international superstars Kings of Leon will release their highly anticipated sixth album Mechanical Bull on Sept. 24. They've already been promoting the hell out of it, show-biz-style, tapping Fred Armisen to direct their AmEx Unstaged concert and playing their single "Supersoaker" on Fallon, and now that they're in the homestretch, how's about a little more promo?
Above you can see It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Glenn Howerton making a Mechanical Bull promo vid on behalf of KOL with a little help from Sunny co-stars Danny DeVito and Charlie Day. (KOL and the Always Sunny gang go way back, in case you didn't already know.) As noted, Howerton spent all of Charlie's Horrible Bosses money making the thing, so it'd better be good — it's Kings of Leon after all, not just Lords of Larry. No big loss. Day still has all that Pacific Rim money.
