So the people behind Earmilk (a music blog worth checking out if the name doesn’t ring any bells) will be presenting live music to whosoever chooses to hear it in the form of the first annual Music in the Middle Fest. Set to unfold at the Short Mountain Distillery in lovely Woodbury, Tenn. (which is a 50-mile drive from Nashville), Music in the Middle Fest promises an eclectic lineup — one that brings together acts like electro-alt-rockers The 1975, recently acquitted Maybach Music luminary Gunplay, hip-hop cellar-dwellers Blue Sky Black Death, witch-house graduate oOoOO and many, many more. If that isn’t enough to pique your interest, the festival grounds will feature 40 artificial snow machines. Seriously, how nutty is that?

Early-bird tickets are already sold out, and advance tickets are going for 90 bones to the first 3,000 customers. If you’re among that contingency and you’re 21 or older, you’ll also receive a free ticket to The Great American Craft Beer Tour, featuring over 100 craft beers and microbrews for your drinking pleasure. If you aren’t among those first 3,000, the tour costs $35. Camping passes are $50 for all. For more information visit the Music in the Middle Fest website.
