Well, Bridgestone Arena is a far cry from the cozy confines of the Grimey's parking lot — where they played an acoustic set back in April for Record Store Day — but emo-pop sensations and former Franklinites/current Angelenos Paramore have just announced that they'll play our friendly neighborhood enormo-dome on Nov. 26. (That is, if the arena is still standing after being pummeled by the poptastic onslaught of fellow big-ticket act Justin Timberlake just 11 days earlier.) Paramore's Nashville date is the second-to-last of their 26-city Self-Titled Tour run.
Joining Paramore in Nashville will be hard-touring Canadian indie-rock behemoths Metric, who played the Ryman last September. Oh, and Californian indie-pop act Hellogoodbye will also open. Tickets for Paramore's Nov. 26 appearance go on sale this Friday, July 26, at 10 a.m. via Live Nation and Ticketmaster. Pre-sales are available to fan club members now via the band's site. If you want to familiarize yourself regarding what 'More frontwoman Hayley Williams & Co. have been up to since that whole thing with the lineup shift, watch the official video for "Still Into You" (the second single from April's Paramore) above. It has nearly 20 million views. Question: Does wearing a shirt that says "DWEEB" on it make you a dweeb?
