Timberlake, who released his The 20/20 Experience on March 15 and will follow that up with The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2) on Sept. 30, has just announced that he'll launch his The 20/20 Experience World Tour with a show in Montreal on Halloween. The third stop on Timberlake's tour will be at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 15. Tickets for that go on sale Friday, May 17, at 10 a.m., via LiveNation and Timberlake's site. There are pre-sale opportunities for fan club members and MasterCard holders. Now, TImberlake will of course precede his solo tour with a string of Jay-Z-co-headlining dates this summer. That tour — the Legends of the Summer Stadium Tour — will take place in July and August, but it won't bring Timbo and HOVA anywhere near the Southeast. Unless, that is, you count Miami, which you probably shouldn't.
Fans of the onetime 'N Sync member will of course know that Timberlake's sizable and GIF-friendly new backing band is known as The Tennessee Kids, named thusly presumably as a nod to the singer's Volunteer State heritage. Anyhow, last time he rolled through Bridgestone — March 16, 2007, when the arena was known as the Gaylord Entertainment Center — he apparently sold the joint out: 17,741 tickets available, 17,741 sold. So what I'm saying is, don't snooze on this one.
