Drop a bomb on Mercy Lounge this weekend and you’ll take out the entire local rock scene. Music City’s favorite Cannery Row club complex has firmed up lineups and scheduling for its 10-year anniversary blowout slated for Friday and Saturday.
Boasting a time-capsule-worthy, something-for-everyone, now-24-band bill of (mostly) top-notch Nashville-indie fare, the rundown reads like a mini Next Big Nashville for the New Year. Turbo Fruits, Natural Child, Five Knives, D. Watusi, Bird Cloud, Evan P. Donohue, Clear Plastic Masks, Mystery Twins, Magnolia Sons, James Wallace and the Naked Light and others (which you can peruse on the flier above), will join JEFF the Brotherhood, Cherub, Tristen, Wild Cub, The Weeks and others (which you can likewise peruse in the same above flier) to round out a super-stacked local-rock double shot at Mercy, Cannery and The High Watt.
