The Kingston Springs Play Bluegrass Version of 'Lowest of Animals' in Front of a Canyon [Fresh Vid]

Remember how local rockers The Kingston Springs played their tune "Lover" in Tuscon's Saguaro National Park? I made a joke about how their surroundings were so gorgeous that they could make even an acoustic bass look cool. Har har. Well, the Springs didn't stop there. They also performed a bluegrass version of their song "Lowest of Animals" at the equally beautiful Colorado National Monument, trading in the grunge riffage of the original for a bob-along acoustic pickin' party. See the Jeff Gentner-directed footage above. And so you'll have an (i)frame of reference, I've embedded the Springs' original take on "Lowest of Animals" below. It of course references Mark Twain and is from TKS' eponymous debut LP, which is available here, free to stream and $11 to own.
