JEFF the Brotherhood's 'Leave Me Out' [Fresh Vid]

Posted By on Thu, Nov 8, 2012 at 8:20 AM

Big year for road-doggin' local champs and psychedelic siblings JEFF the Brotherhood. Their homegrown Infinity Cat Records turned 10, and their Dan Auerbach-produced Warner Bros. debut, Hypnotic Nights, soared out into the furthest reaches of the blogosphere. And now, their video for "Leave Me Out."

Where this summer's video for "Six Pack" was an homage to lubricated, buddy-time vibes, "Leave Me Out" is a more introspective affair. "Six Pack" was the party, "Leave Me Out" is the psychotropic-induced come-down. The track itself is a Hypnotic Nights standout — a mid-tempo, grunge-pop rocker with lengthy sweeps of distortion that pair well with stock-footage green-screenery. Watch the clip above. Oh, and also, watch a bunch of people doing karaoke to "Six Pack" at JEFF's website.
