A poll worker “just flipped out” when an election commissioner tried to replace a faulty voting machine Tuesday at the Cora Howe Elementary School polling station in Nashville. Luckily Pink Spiders/Aught-Nots frontman, Mercy Lounge/Cannery Ballroom/High Watt bartender and registered Tennessee voter Matthew Bell (aka Matt Friction) was on hand to bear witness. Check out his account of the incident, as reported by News Channel 5, in the clip above and block quote below:
All that I heard him say was, “That 'B' has been mouthin’ off to me for the last time,” and he throws the badge down, by us, and then he left, and then he came back a few minutes later because he forgot a cup. And so when he got his cup, they kinda got into it a little bit more.
Oh, the great lengths The High Watt will go to for a little free advertising, AMIRITE?
