William Tyler, Caitlin Rose Help Soundtrack Under the Guise's Modcloth Guide to Nashville

Readers are likely to be familiar with Scene favorite Heidi Jewell's style blog Under the Guise, and may remember her from our fashion blogger pictorial a couple years back. Readers are also likely to be familiar with Modcloth, the go-to shop for Manic Pixie Dream Girls everywhere (and shoppers whose tastes lean smart and retro, more or less Twiggy- and Audrey Hepburn-ward). Readers are just as likely to be familiar with the various Nashville spots Jewell highlights in this video she executive-produced for the Modcloth blog: Barista Parlor, Local Honey, The Stone Fox, Third Man Records, Grimey's, Halcyon Bike Shop and Robert's Western World. Taken together, the result is a nicely shot quick romp through Music City, including some of our local favorites. Seeing see William Tyler play a bit of his psychedelic Appalachian fingerstyle guitar on The Stone Fox stage is a nice bonus, as is hearing Caitlin Rose's "Shanghai Cigarettes" behind footage of folks dancing the night away down on Lower Broad.
