It's been about a year-and-a-half since local rock 'n' rollers The Clutters released their latest LP, Breaking Bones. In the time since, 50 percent of The Clutters splintered off to form the rather excellent Mystery Twins — but that doesn't mean the sun has gone down on The Clutters. As a matter of fact, they just debuted a brand-new video for their tune "Run" via Paste. The Jay Wade Edwards-directed vid, which you can see above, is a heavy one — that lady's demons won't cut her some damn slack. There is a bit of redemption in the end, however. No spoilers!
Over at Paste, writer Ryan Bort did the whole "doesn’t fit the country stereotypes of Music City" thing when describing The Clutters, which marks the one-millionth time a writer has led a blog post about a Nashville rock band with that. Thanks Bort, and congratulations Clutters! In any case, "Run" is a good tune, so go ahead and sink your teeth into the video.
