Cream Calendar There Will Be Snacks: Steve Lee's 8 off 8th Tonight at Mercy Lounge To Feature Free Snacks [Updated]

We love jingle-winning local funnyman Steve Lee around these parts. I mean, who else would organize an 8 off 8th complete with kid-friendly jams and a free food-for-all? Tonight, Lee will host an installment of the free Mercy Lounge series, with performances from David Jennings, What Bird, Gabe Dixon, Yumzah! (Lee's "kid's music band pseudonym stage performance name"), Jason Eskridge, Escondido, The Lonely H, Phantom Farmer and Luella and the Sun. I could paraphrase the available snackage, but I think it'd be way more effective to just block-quote Lee. So, here:
Also, I have spent $100 dollars on snacks from Trader Joe's and other various treat dispensaries. There will be snacks. The following snack will be there Oriental Crackers, Ridge Cut, Sweet Potato Chips, Plain Pita Chips, Nacho Cheese Tortilla Chips, Classic Potato Chips, Falafel Tortilla Chips, Organic Animal Crackers, Kettle Corn Cookies, Honey Wheat Pretzel Sticks, Homemade SLEE Style Stovetop Popcorn, Triple Ginger Cookies, Kale Chips, Joe Joe Chocolate Cookies (OREO), Coconut Biscuit Cookies, Chocolate Covered Almonds with Sea Salt and Turbinado Sugar, Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans, Milk Chocolate Covered Potato Chips, Roasted Garlic Hummus, Mediterranean Hummus, Cheesestick Cheddar Crackers, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, 2lbs of Strawberry Twizzlers, Hot & Spicy Cheez-its, Sour Patch Kids, Yogurt Covered Pretzels, Nutter Butter Bars and I think that's it. Please know that some of these snacks will be VIP SNAX and won't be for general consumption.
There you have it. Snacks and shit. As always, the 8 off 8th is free, and it kicks off at 9 p.m.
