Weekend Round-Up: JEFF Leopard Style

Posted By on Fri, Oct 19, 2012 at 7:30 AM

First off, if you're looking for the latest Crofton Show, it came down the pipeline early this week.

Perhaps you heard that JEFF the Brotherhood is currently asking fans to superimpose their faces on the Hypnotic Nights leopard via Facebook. I think it's just a promotional thing rather than a contest, per se, but how could I not plug Gold's face onto that bad boy?

Moving on, this weekend's looking fairly legit as far as live entertainment goes. Tonight you've got: Rufus Wainwright at the Ryman; Die Antwoord at Marathon; Milktooth's EP release at The High Watt; Fly Golden Eagle, James Wallace and the Naked Light and Meadownoise at The Stone Fox; and more. Tomorrow you're looking at: Forget Cassettes' release at Exit/In; one of those Music City Shake Down tapings at the NECAT building; Alabama Shakes' benefit at The 5 Spot; Little Bandit early at Grimey's; and plenty more. Have a look at the rest — compiled by Adam "Eye of the Leopard" Gold — after the jump. Let us know what we missed, and have yourselves a carnivorous weekend.
