Alabama Shakes To Play Benefit for Friend at The 5 Spot Saturday

The Alabama Shakes will make a not-so-secret, not-so-surprise appearance at The 5 Spot this Saturday, Oct. 20. The show is a benefit to send a friend of the band — who is suffering from a terminal form of a cancer — on a final vacation with her young children. Pre-sale tickets are $20 and are only available for purchase at The Groove Records' and The 5 Spot's physical locations. Currently there are less than 50 left, so get on it. The Black Foot Gypsies, Patrick Sweany, Frances and the Foundation and The Future (not to be confused with
Fyutch, formerly known as The Future) will open the show. Doors are at 7:45 p.m.
