* Speaking of Bridgestone, she of finely toned abdomen, Pink (or P!nk, if you like), will also hit the arena in March. Bridgestone just announced that the m!ssundaztood songstress will bring her The Truth About Love Tour through Nashville on March 2, and tickets for that go on sale at this link on Saturday, Oct. 13, at 10 a.m. That one's significantly cheaper than the Gags — $25.80 to $85.00. This is the longest amount of time I've ever spent thinking or talking about Pink.
* And finally, since we're talking about pop stars, prominent noodle chef John Mayer will appear at Zac Brown Band's Southern Ground Music and Food Festival this weekend at The Lawn at Riverfront Park. Mayer, says the fest's site, "will be joining the Zac Brown Band & Friends special sit in performances on on Friday, September 21 and Saturday, September 22 [sic]." Unless I'm mistaken, this will mark Mayer's first performance in Nashville since he had that tearful onstage moment at Sommet Center in which he apologized for saying that his "dick is sort of like a white supremacist." Hey, he said it, not me. Get your tickets for the Southern Ground Fest here, and watch Mayer "Oh"-facing all over Frank Ocean's recent SNL performance here.
