Whatevs Somebody's Been Kroegering: Congrats to Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger, Canada's Worst Couple

Well, you probably heard the news. Pop-punker Avril Lavigne — who is admittedly about as "punk" as one of those shirts in the Target kids' section that literally says "Punk" on it — and Nickelback's Chad Kroeger (once described by our own Adam Gold as both "poodle-haired" AND "rat-faced") are engaged to be married. The couple — equally matched in the mediocrity department, I'd say, and kind of the exact opposite of Beyonce and Jay-Z, if you think about it — first got together when collaborating on Lavigne's forthcoming fifth album. Shudder.
Anyway, since it's Wednesday and kind of slow, I got to wondering what song the lovestruck Canucks might share their first dance to as husband and wife ...
Hmm. No, too obvious.
Canadian enough, but definitely not "alt" enough. Also, too listenable.
Definitely not heavy-handed enough.
No good. Besides, may have been used at Avril's last wedding.
Wait ... was this a response song to "I'm With You"? Meh.
