Guided by Voices' 'Game of Pricks' and 'I Am a Scientist' at Marathon Music Works

OK, so I think the Cream's collective hangover from last week's Sounds Like Summer event featuring Guided by Voices and Turbo Fruits at Marathon Music Works has finally subsided. Good timing too, seeing as how we've now got footage of GBV performing a couple classic cuts to put on repeat. On Tuesday we shared with you a live video of "He Rises! Our Union Bellboy" from this year's Class Clown Spots a UFO, and today we've got "Game of Pricks" and "I Am a Scientist," the former of which just happens to be my favorite GBV song. Watch above, and see if you can spot yourself fist-pumping in the crowd. You may notice that bassist Greg Demos was having a bit of trouble with his amp during both tunes, but — in classic GBV fashion —┬áthe band plugged right on through, easing our fucked-up lives and, as Mr. Pollard might put it, shitting themselves with rock 'n' roll. Awesome.

Thanks again to Cream A/V men Seth Graves and Stephen "Goose" Trageser — both shot, and Goose edited. Nice work, boys.
