Unfortunately, given this weekend’s shooting outside Family Wash, the Cream looks like a true-crime blog today. Now this.
According to the Minneapolis City Pages, a shameful charlatan burglarized Those Darlins’ van Saturday night, making off with a bass and a guitar, following a show at the City of Lakes’ Cedar Cultural Center, where the band performed with Best Coast and JEFF the Brotherhood. Adding insult to injury, Saturday was also Darlins’ singer Jessi Darlin's birthday.
The band tweeted an APB to the Twin Cities for a Red 2006 Fender Jaguar bass with a matching headstock, Fender Badass II bridge and a gash on its upper edge, and a white Richmond guitar with a Seymour Duncan bridge pickup. See pics (courtesy of the City Pages) of the pilfered axes after the jump.
