* The Bonnaroo 365 folks have already shared a few installments of the Jam in the Van series they taped down in Manchester back in June, and a couple of them — PUJOL and Cherub, to be precise — featured Nashvillian artists. Well, taking the "Jam" part of that moniker to its next logical step, Jam in the Van just posted a couple videos of jam-centric, Music City-based progsters Moon Taxi stuffing that big sound of theirs into the tight confines of the 'Roomobile. Taxi performed a bopping little 'Roo theme song of their own creation (above), plus an original called "Mercury" (after the jump).
* The Larissa Maestro-led, quirky, strings-and-sundries-playing pop trio Poly, you may recall, recently shared a video in which they performed their song "Sidewalk Chalk." Now there's some footage of Poly playing their tune "Parachute," and you can see it after the jump. Like "Sidewalk Chalk," this performance was filmed at at Joel McAnulty's (De Novo Dahl, By Lightning!, Phantom Farmer) home studio, Phantom Farmercy. Poly's got a release show at Zombie Shop on Aug. 4.
* And finally, Nashvillian classic country-inspired crooner and Two-Dollar Tuesday host Derek Hoke recently recorded a Daytrotter session. Hoke will release his Waiting All Night in August, so stay tuned for more on that.
