Jack White’s ‘Freedom at 21’ Video Has a Trailer, King Tuff Plays Third Man Matinee Tomorrow [Coming Attractions]

Here’s something you don’t see every day: A trailer for a music video. The clip for Jack White’s “Freedom at 21” — the lucky third single from White’s solo debut Blunderbuss — premieres Monday on the Internet, but you can get a taste of what to expect in the teaser above, which Third Man Records posted on its official site today. Directed by acclaimed music videographer Hype Williams — the man behind classic clips like 2Pac’s “California Love” and Missy Elliott’s “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)” — the “pulse pounding,” cinematic video employs a glossy grindhouse style.

In related news: King Tuff is the mystery headliner slated to appear along with openers The People’s Temple at Third Man’s inaugural Rock ’n’ Roll Lunch tomorrow afternoon in The Blue Room. (Getch’yer tickets here.) But, rain or shine, that doesn’t mean you should skip KT’s VFW Post 1970 show tonight.
